Non-Confidential Model Documentation - U.S. Peril Models
In states without a formal catastrophe model submission and review process, regulatory agencies may pose a rate filing objection, which involves a request for additional details of the catastrophe model(s) used to support the filing. In such cases, we recommend clients provide regulators with a copy of the appropriate Verisk non-confidential model documentation.
Important Note: The documents below are modified versions of the latest Verisk client confidential model documents, available elsewhere on the client portal. In general, client confidential documentation may not be provided to a regulator.
For more information on the states where AIR is statutorily required to submit its models for review/approval, please reference the FAQ document named Which Version of Verisk Models are Submitted to State Regulators?
